Draw the stair on the structural grid and enter the floor height; risers and treads are set to code, and the reinforcement or steel details, quantities and drawing sheets are ready.
Pick a type from the library or draw the stairwell yourself on the grid with lines and arcs. The program proposes flight lengths, riser and tread dimensions from the floor height and highlights any value that is out of range.
As soon as the stair is drawn its 3D model is ready: textured treads, railings, slabs and the structure together. Orbit, pan and zoom the model; export the view as PNG.
Plans and sections are tied to the grid; dimensions, levels and detail callouts are placed automatically.
The engineer enters the reinforcement, the program draws it. Bars are drawn inside the concrete with cover. Where the flight meets the landing the bars do not bend; they cross and extend by the lap length. Each bar mark is shown once with a numbered bubble; labels never overlap.
Diameter, count, length and weight of each mark flow into the quantity table automatically (below).
A single plate box stringer under the walking line carries the stair. Under each tread a bracket is welded to the stringer with a flange plate on top; the timber tread sits on the flange. The bottom end is fixed to the floor with a base plate, the top end to the wall with an anchor plate.
Quantities update as you draw. The table is numbered, has subtotals and exports as CSV that opens in Excel.
A titled PDF sheet is produced with one tap: plan, section, rebar or steel details and the quantity table. DXF output is layered; grid, concrete, rebar, bar labels and dimensions come on separate layers and open directly in AutoCAD and other CAD programs.
The tools on the top bar run left to right in this order. A ✓ appears next to each completed step.
Grid tool: pick two points. Copy a grid line by dragging it or typing a distance. Intersections become snap points.
Outer contour to draw the outer boundary of the stair opening, snapping to grid intersections.
Stairwell to draw the gap between the flights; the walking line is created with it. At least 10 cm must remain between flights.
Enter the floor height. The program proposes risers, treads and flights; Optimise fits them to code. A value outside the limits turns orange and asks for confirmation.
Reinforced concrete or steel. Depending on the choice, the Detail tab shows rebar or steel parts.
Enter the reinforcement or adjust the steel sizes, then export PDF sheets and DXF.
Only on your own device or browser. Nothing is sent to us. Clearing browser data deletes the projects too; export important projects as files.
No. Output is DXF, which AutoCAD and other CAD programs open directly.
No. The engineer decides the reinforcement; the program draws it in section, plan and bar shapes and produces the bar schedule.
