Type in the building corner coordinates or read them from the PDF or a photo of the surveyor's setting-out sketch; get the excavation volume, sketch and report. The app itself is in Turkish only, because it follows Turkish surveying and permit practice.

Excavation volume from coordinates, in minutes

Enter the building corners with Y, X and ground level and type the foundation depth. The program draws the building and the plot, applies working space edge by edge and gives the volume without working space, with working space and with slopes. Several blocks are totalled in one project.

Coordinate entry

Choose the block first, then whether you are drawing the building or the plot. For each corner enter Y, X, ground level and, if needed, the working space for that edge. The sketch updates as you type.

Reading from PDF and photos

Open the PDF or a photo of the surveyor's setting-out sketch, or paste text copied from the PDF. The program parses the coordinates and skips title and stamp lines. You mark each point as building or plot, split them into blocks and import them into the project. Photos of photocopies get contrast adjustment and decimal fixes.

Always check the parsed values before importing them.

Working space and slope

Working space can be set per edge: an empty edge takes the default, 0 marks an adjoining edge, and any other number sets a custom value for that edge. The excavation bottom level is ±0.00 minus the foundation depth.

Volume and sketch

For each block the footprint area, depth and volume are calculated three ways: without working space, with working space and with slopes. Blocks are totalled in one table. The sketch is drawn to scale with corner numbers, working space and the excavation line.

PDF report and DXF

The sketch, coordinate table and volume results go into a titled PDF report. The sketch also exports as DXF and opens in CAD programs.

Help: your first volume in five steps

  1. Open a project

Create a new project on the start screen, or start one from a PDF.

  2. Choose the block and drawing type

Choose the block; Building or Plot mode.

  3. Enter the corners

Type Y, X and ground level; the space key moves to the next field. If you read from a PDF or photo, check and confirm the points.

  4. Set foundation depth and working space

Enter the foundation depth and default working space; for other edges type a custom value or 0 (adjoining).

  5. Get the sketch and result

See the volume on the sketch and result screen; save it as a PDF report or DXF.

FAQ

Is my PDF or photo uploaded anywhere?

No. Reading happens inside your browser; the file never leaves your computer or phone.

Which PDFs can be read?

PDFs with the coordinate table as text give the best results. Scanned PDFs and photos may contain reading errors; check the results.

How is the excavation bottom level found?

The excavation depth is subtracted from the ground-floor level (±0.00), or you can type the bottom level directly. Because each corner has its own ground level, the depth is calculated per corner and averaged.

Why Turkish only?

The excavation calculation follows setting-out and permit practice in Türkiye. So for now it is in Turkish only and on Google Play in Türkiye only.
